Use Discussion Mode.
It’s a new option in Create that lets you ask the agent questions, plan features, or debug without making changes. You'll also save credits as its cheaper than building.
How it works
- The agent only replies in plain text
- No code changes
- You spend credits only on the question + reply.
How to use it well
- Brainstorm before (or while) you build.
- Ask questions about anything you don’t understand yet.
- Debug your app. The agent can still read the code; it just won’t edit it until you move back into act mode.
- Talk through potential options
Once you’re satisfied, switch back to build mode; the agent keeps the entire conversation in context.
We built this after people kept adding “don’t make changes” to prompts.
Now you can think out loud safely, then flip back to action when you’re ready.
